I started teaching and coaching at Dayton HS, in 2016. I teach Physics and I am the head girls soccer coach and the assistant cross country coach. I am the video coordinator for football.
I started teaching in 1993. Before I came to DHS, I was at Angleton HS, in Angleton, TX. I have been teaching and coaching for 26 years. I have been coaching soccer for 22 years, and have been a head varsity soccer coach for 20 years. I have also coached football, and have several years of playoff experience in both sports. I also coached a runner in the UIL State Cross Country Meet.
I have two children. My daughter Maddie is 16, and my son John David (JD), is 13. My fiancee Valerie Meredith lives in Georgetown, TX.
When I’m not teaching and coaching, I enjoy spending time having fun with my kids and supporting them at their activities. I also try to make it home to the hill country of Georgetown, TX as much as possible. I like to fish and play golf. I also enjoy running/walking (more walking than running) and attending and being active at our church.
