Dayton High School Announcement Board

The 6th six weeks begins Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

This begins the last six weeks of the 2025-2026 school year. 

End of 5th Six Weeks

The 5th six weeks ends on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

HB 1481

The HB 1481 law prohibits students from using cell phones (earbuds, smartwatches, headphones, etc.) from the time they arrive on campus until the end of the school day. Please refer to the Student Handbook for more detailed information.

DHS Tipline

Please use this form to report incidents of or by Dayton High School students/staff. You may report for yourself or for someone else. Please include as much information as possible, so we can fully investigate your report. You are not required to submit your name, buy you may do so if desired. 

Student IDs

Students are required to wear their ID on a lanyard around their neck at all times. 

Report Bullying

Dayton ISD takes all reports of bullying seriously. If you know of someone who has been or is being bullied, please report it. Click “More Info” to use our anonymous reporting form. Another resource is StopBullying.gov.

Mesh or Clear Backpacks

Parents: Remember that only mest or clear backpacks are allowed at Dayton High School. 

Easter Holiday

Students do not have school Thursday, April 2nd through Monday, April 6th. Students return to school on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

Dinner is buffet style with dancing and a photo booth. Prom photos are also available for purchase.
