Born and raised in Liberty County, I find it a great since of pride to be able to work in the area where I grew up. Dayton is the first and only place that I have worked at in Education. I graduated High School in 2005 from Liberty and continued my education in college with stops at ETBU and graduating from Texas State in 2010. While working I continued my education recieving a Masters of Education from UT – Tyler and a Masters of Arts in Histroy from University of Nebraska at Kearney. I started at Dayton in 2010 coaching Football and Baseball under Jerry Stewart. I started coahing softball in 2015, under then Head Coach Daryl Bell. I was Lucky to have had such a great mentor in the sport and I hope to continue the tradition of winning that he started; going on 16 consecutive years in the playoffs. I enjoy being around kids and helping them to do things they may never of thought they could. In my spare time I enjoy studying the game of football and softball, playing golf, hunting, cooking and spending time with my family. My wife, Catherine, and I married in July of 2015, we were High School "sweethearts" so we have been together for a VERY long time and I have loved every minute of it! We have three children, Scarlett- 7 years old and Jackson- 5 years old and Christopher – 6 months old.
